If your professional world happens to arrive and depart through Denver International Airport, Lennar Homes’ has a family-sized model to show you at master-planned Reunion west of DIA – along with a very few homes that can deliver soon, and some choice homes sites near the parks and amenities that are flying away this spring at near jet speed.

Lennar had 50 sites when it opened its model at Reunion last fall – but coming into the busiest sales months of the year, they’re already approaching two-thirds gone; just 12 homes under way for sale and another seven sites where you could choose a lot. Sales overwhelmingly have gone to people who need to be close to DIA – around 12 minutes away via Tower Road to Peña Boulevard.

“These people want to be close to the airport,” says Lennar’s Dennis Gainer, who along Fathi Hanish will show you the model, and a choice few homes, including a ranch, that can deliver next month. “They’re working for tech companies and they travel a lot.” But two other factors weigh into just how fast Lennar’s homes are moving here.

Gainer says this is easily the nicest community with this kind of DIA access – a big master-plan with huge parks, good recreational amenities, and a new King Soopers. Meanwhile, Lennar’s “Everything’s Included” approach to finish-and-trim options, which wraps in the most sought-after features at the standard price, is a good match to the buyer looking to tie up a new home deal with minimal hassle.

“It’s an easy decision for them,” Gainer adds. “The option sheet is only one page long.” What requires a little more deliberation is choosing between Lennar’s two neighborhoods in Reunion – one of them close to the models, VERY close to the landmark 52-acre park with huge lake and pool/rec center and water-slide; the other with some coveted walkout basement lots, close to Reunion’s South Lawn park.

The latter has a Brookstone three-bedroom design ready soon – 2,245 feet plus full-wide three-car garage, on the last walkout lot that backs to open space, at $348,250.

You’ll also see a Graham ranch that sells as well to younger families as to older: three-car garage, full basement, backing to a small park, at $344,100. Both have Everything’s Included features – slab granite and stainless appliances; fireplace; wood shades in privacy areas; air conditioning; and home automation that lets you check locks or lights from your iPhone.

Lennar will sweeten the deal with 3.75% FHA/VA fixed-rate financing (APR is 4.67) if you use their lender, UAMC. But if you want the best choices, Gainer says you need to go to full throttle and visit right now.

Lennar’s model is on the south side of Reunion’s lake. Exit DIA/Peña Blvd at Tower, turn left (north) four miles to 104th; then west to Reunion Parkway; turn north a long block to the lake, and then left (west) hugging the lake two blocks to the model.
