When actor Richard Austin hit the depths of depression after a divorce, he found healing in the poetry of a Jesuit priest named Gerard Manley Hopkins, known as one of the most important Victorian poets of the 19th century.

Today, the London-trained actor travels the world performing his one-man show that features Hopkins’ poetry.

This Thursday, the internationally-known Hopkins scholar and actor will .

The performance is at St. John Francis Regis Chapel at 3333 Regis Blvd. on Mar. 27 at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

Austin traveled to Denver last week to participate in the , which attracted national and international speakerss, from Canada to Jerusalem.
