Here’s a suspension waiting to happen.

This hit comes from the Ontario Hockey League, Canada’s home for NHL prospects. London Knights goalie Anthony Stolarz, a prospect in the Philadelphia Flyers organization, slashed forward Josh Ho-Sang in the head after Ho-Sang delivered a few hits with his stick to Stolarz.

Stolarz was given a two-minute penalty for his hit on Ho-Sang, who was also penalized.

Yahoo Sports expects Stolarz to be suspended, noting that contact to the head in the OHL is an “almost automatic 10-game suspension.”
