In a market where builders are re-pricing new homes upward literally every month, Lennar Homes has a newly opened community near Southlands Shopping Center where they’re holding prices on some big-family value homes, for those who venture out for a look either today or tomorrow after Easter brunch. Copperleaf has Cherry Creek Schools nearby and a new charter school coming this fall – a nice pool right across the way that’s set to open, and a neighborhood park under construction that’s directly kitty-corner from these homes.
Copperleaf has another commodity that’s not easy to find this spring: four big-family sized homes, one of them a ranch plan, that are ready for move-in within weeks. One is five bedrooms, four baths, with a spectacular master suite that has the views of Mt. Evans and the Front Range – priced right now at only $399,900. Copperleaf is a half mile WEST of 470 on Quincy – but most buyers are looking around EAST of 470, further out Smoky Hill Road, where they see lots of construction happening, according to Matt Cassidy, regional sales manager. “They’re missing some incredible homes with terrific amenities,” Cassidy adds. “Everybody that sees them loves them.” At Copperleaf you’ll tour two models that show off Lennar’s architecture – and if you like the looks, you can move on to a ‘Monterey’ design directly across from the park, four bedrooms/four baths, plus a study that works as main-floor guest suite. It has Lennar’s ‘Everything’s Included’ features: slab granite kitchen tops, 2-inch privacy blinds already installed, air conditioning, a corner fireplace, generous-sized hardwood floor package between kitchen and entry, 9-foot basement ceiling, and Smart-Home features by Nexia with a touch-pad entry; along with some nice extras: glass-tile backsplash, gas range, wrought-iron stair spindles, and a roomy ‘owner-entry’ from garage to kitchen with task desk and boot seat. The bedroom level has two bedrooms on a Jack-n-Jill bath, another with its own en-suite bath, upstairs laundry and huge master with coffered ceiling. That one is still at $399,900; and next door you’ll find a big ranch – just short of 2,000 square feet plus basement – lower still at $389,900. All four homes have front-and-back landscape and other Everything’s Included features, plus some extras (high-end pedestal washer and dryer in the ranch and in one other 4-or-5-bedroom plan). You’ll see how close Eagle Crest High School is, and how well this works if you commute south to DTC or Meridian, or north to DIA or Buckley AFB. To find from Aurora, take Quincy Avenue east past Buckley, past Picadilly, to Copperleaf and turn south to Tibet; or from E470 head west on Quincy a half mile to Copperleaf Boulevard and turn south. Lennar’s new models are just EAST of the roundabout. WHERE: Grand opening, Copperleaf by Lennar Homes, Cherry Creek Schools, 3-to-6-bedroom, four family-sized homes including ranch for quick delivery across from park & pool already open. 4847 S. Valdai Way, Aurora; from 470 head west on Quincy ½ mi. to Copperleaf Blvd., turn south 0.8 mi. to Tibet; or from Smoky Hill area, head east on Quincy, past Picadilly, to Copperleaf Blvd. PRICE: From $340s
