1 Driver flips off the wrong car. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were driving in an unmarked car April 16 near C-470 and West Quincy Avenue, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), when the driver behind them began to tailgate and motioned for them to change lanes. The driver then shot into the right lane to pass them and flipped them off. The deputies pulled the driver over. He denied flipping them off, but later apologized.

2 Woman looking for “John.” A man called deputies on April 17 after he said a woman knocked on his door and asked for “John.” Deputies went to the 12700 block of West Grand Avenue,unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), where the woman said she had been called by a man named John, but would leave. The man said the woman had come to the door several times and that neighbors had a similar experience.

3 Suspicious men told to leave Columbine. On April 15, the school resource officer at Columbine High School, 6201 S. Pierce St., Columbine (Littleton), was notified about two males in the parking lot. When contacted, the men said they were tourists from Germany and wanted to see the school. The officer gave them directions to the Columbine Memorial and said they couldn’t be on campus.

4 Fight breaks out at Burger King. Deputies were called to Burger King, 5061 S. Jellison Way,unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), on April 19 after an employee got into a fight with a customer who had become angry after trying to haggle over prices. Co-workers restrained the employee, and the customer drove off.
