Colorado musician Ryan Tedder is best known as the frontman for OneRepublic. But as a radio and pop friendly band, even Tedder’s hometown fans might not realize that his range extends to hip-hop, dance, rock, country and R&B in his prolific writing career. For the better part of the decade, Tedder has worked with everyone from Ellie Goulding to B.o.B and Adele to Wiz Khalifa while becoming one of the industry’s leading hit-makers.
“I just wrapped up a couple weeks with U2, so any level of pressure that I could possibly have I’ve already experienced at this point. The pressure drives me,” Tedder while working with these big names. “To make it an analogy to sports: Everyone on the court wants to be as good as Kobe Bryant, but the only way to do that is to practice, practice, practice.”
We took a look through Ryan to find 15 of his bigger and more surprising contributions to Top 40 music.
He and OneRepublic play Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 28-29.
