The 10th anniversary edition of the free, Fort Collins-based announced ’80s rockers Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, ’70s SoCal favorites War and Colorado’s own as national headliners this morning.
The Aug. 15-17 event previously revealed last week for the bulk of its lineup, but the addition of Benatar & Giraldo, War and Big Head Todd completes its 2014 roster.
Big Head Todd and the Monsters will take the stage on Mountain Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15. The performance will be simulcast at the Library Park Stage. On Saturday, Aug. 16, an 8:30 p.m. performance by Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo on the Mountain Avenue Stage will wrap up the day of shows (the show will also be simulcast at Library Park) and War will make a return to the festival stage after headlining 10 years ago at the first Bohemian Nights.
In general, music performances will run on six stages 5-10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sunday.
NewWestFest joins the June 21 and The Denver Post’s own , which takes place July 24-27, in showcasing hundreds of local acts alongside national headliners.
