Recovered from three days of over-crowded subways toward Randall’s Island and making the pilgrimage across the RFK Bridge to Governors Ball 2014, we got a chance to go through all the videos and pictures we took during the weekend. We’ve compiled our 10 favorite moments from Governors Ball for you to watch and get a sense of what it was like in the crowd during sets from OutKast, the Strokes, Interpol and more. Enjoy the videos below (we did our best to keep the camera steady in some packed crowds.)
10) The Kills play “Heart is a Beating Drum” with an army of percussionists.
9) James Blake plays the intro of “I Never Learnt to Share” as his band walks on stage.
8) OutKast plays “B.O.B.” early into their Friday set.
7) Spoon jams through an excellent set on Saturday.
6) Jack White rips through “Icky Thump” during his headlining set.
5) Interpol plays “Evil” during a passionate and nostalgic set.
4) Phoenix plays “Love Like a Sunset” as the daylight fades on Friday.
3) One of the more mellow moments of their set, the Strokes play “Under Control” on Saturday.
2) In a set of mostly older material, the Strokes also played “12:51.”
1) Andre 3000 plays “Hey Ya” during his solo portion of OutKast’s set.
