
Fans of the grape have yet another reason to lift a glass: The 11th Annual Castle Rock WineFest will be held July 19.
The Saturday event, running 2-8 p.m., is sponsored by the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce. Colorado wines are featured in the tastings.
There will also be wine seminars, cooking demonstrations, live rhythm-and-blues by the from 5-8 p.m., plus arts vendors and food trucks, including Brava! Pizza and Mexican Tamales.
More than 20 wineries from around the state plan to participate. Among the lineup: Bijou Peak Winery, Colorado Cellars, Garfield Estates, Ruby Creek, Ten Bears and Two Rivers.
Tickets to WineFest are $27 in advance, and $37 starting July 17. Designated driver tickets cost $17. Grand Tasting/Winemaker Dinner combo tickets cost $84.
