Sunday. Douglas County Libraries has never sponsored a kid-oriented music and literature festival before, but organizers have a feeling the lineup at the first Rockfest Junior will help make it an annual event. Performers at this outdoor event include Grammy-winning (and Denver-bred) duo the Okee Dokee Brothers (pictured), the Denver School of Rock House Band and musician/educator Vered. The fest also features musical crafts, kids’ treats, a drum tent and a free tambourine for every attendee. Tickets are $5 (kids under 2 are free) and each purchase comes with a download of the Okee Dokee single “Walking with Spring.” 3 p.m. June 22 at Civic Green Park, 9370 S. Ridgeline Blvd. in Highlands Ranch. 303-791-7323 or
