Deputies went to the 5100 block of West Xenophon Court in the Littleton area and talked to the woman who said that she found a rabbit’s head on her welcome mat on the porch a few days earlier. The next day she found a body in the same place. Earlier that morning, her neighbor told her he found the back half of a rabbit on his porch. The neighbors suspected that someone was going through the neighborhood, mutilating rabbits and putting them on people’s porches.
