1 Criminal mischief. On June 29, Edgewater police officers responded to a residence in the 2400 block of Lamar Street regarding an unknown situation. The investigation resulted in a 27-year-old man being arrested for criminal mischief, obstruction of a telephone device and domestic violence.

2 Heroin. On June 23, officers contacted a suspicious male in the parking lot of Target, 1985 Sheridan Blvd., Edgewater. A 32-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant from Larimer County for failure to appear.

3 Meth bust. On June 22, Lakewood police arrested a man at Trail’s End Motel, 9025 W. Colfax Ave., on suspicion of felony drug possession, among other charges. The man had been using methamphetamine, and police found approximately 1 gram of the substance as well as two syringes and an electronic scale. The man had a little over $200 in his wallet.

4 Dog eat dog world. On June 19, a Lakewood police officer responded to the 1800 block of Kendall Street regarding an incident involving a dog biting another dog. A man said he was walking his dog when another dog, off-leash, ran up and bit his dog on the neck. The dog had to receive medical attention, and the owner of the loose dog was issued a summons.

5 Domestic violence. Lakewood police officers arrested a man June 18 on suspicion of harassment, domestic violence, third-degree assault and criminal mischief. Officers subdued the man in the 600 block of Urban Court after his altercation with his girlfriend and her daughter.
