During her acceptance speech at the BET Awards this weekend, , hinting that the breakout star didn’t write her own lyrics. Minaj then mocked Azalea’s dance move during a performance.
On Wednesday, Minaj took to Twitter to somewhat clarify her comments. Minaj blames the media for putting words in her mouth and says that she has respect for Azalea.
“I’ve congratulated Iggy on the success of Fancy, publicly. She should be very proud of that. All the women nominated should b proud,” Minaj tweeted.
