Interview with Chuck Kelly, owner
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: We started going to auctions years ago and would sell out of our garage. We decided three years ago to look for a storefront and step out of our box. We’ve been at it for more than two years now, and it’s going great. I run the store with my wife, Shonie.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: We carry something for everyone and every room of your home. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we have a wish list that our costumers fill out with items they are looking for and we try to find that item for them. We also carry custom, hand-crafted log furniture. We are always negotiable on our prices.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: Going and buying all the unique and interesting pieces of furniture.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Finding good used furniture for the right price to pass the savings on to our customers.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: That we have only been doing this for such a short time.
