1 Car break-in. Golden police went to the 300 block of Lookout View Court, Golden, where residents said they discovered a person in their pickup truck — which had been left unlocked — around 3:30 a.m. June 24. The person ran away when the residents yelled at him. Nothing was missing from the truck and no other cars in the area appeared to have been broken into.

2 Stolen trash can. A woman reported to Golden police on June 25 that her mother’s trash can was missing from the 200 block of Ford Street, Golden
. The receptacle was contracted through the trash service and valued at $80.

3Thieves drive black van. Air purification equipment valued at $950 was reported stolen from TDA Research, 12345 W. 52nd Ave, Wheat Ridge, on June 25. Golden police took the report and viewed surveillance video of two men driving up to the business and loading the equipment into a black van. The men were unidentifiable due to poor video quality. 4 Neighbor cursed. A resident of the 1400 block of Utah St., Golden, filed a harassment report with Golden police June 25. She said that she told her neighbor she didn’t want to talk because of a previous conflict. Her neighbor then voiced obscenities, made a gesture as if sprinkling something and said, “I curse you! They’re gonna find your body in a Dumpster across the street.”

5 Mailbox damaged. A mailbox in the 2400 block of Hiwan Drive, Evergreen, was singled out by vandals June 18. Officers said it appeared to have been knocked off its post by a baseball bat. No other mailboxes in the area were damaged.
