Denver police are investigating a shooting that injured one person early Sunday at a hotel in Denver.
The incident at the Stay Inn Hotel, 12033 E. 38th Ave. began with a confrontation between two people at about 1:55 a.m., said police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
“Subsequently the victim was shot” in the leg.
The victim was taken to a hospital. The suspect fled in a dark blue 1980s Ford Mustang.
The investigation is ongoing.
