
1 Barking dog hotel. A resident of the 5400 block of East 65th Way, Commerce City , called police because his neighbor’s six dogs were barking. The owner of the dogs said he was watching some of them for friends July 7. He was cited.
2 Truck sabotage. A man called police after he found that someone cut the catalytic converter out of his work truck July 7. The victim said the truck was parked in front of his home in the 5300 block of East 70th Avenue in Commerce City all weekend.
3 The golden bike. A boy called police after someone stole his custom BMX bike that he left unlocked behind the 7-Eleven at 8991 E. 104th Ave. in Commerce City. The boy said he went inside for five minutes to get a snack and his gold bike was gone when he came back July 6.
4 Bumper toss. Witnesses called police to the scene of a car accident at East 62nd Avenue and Kearney Street, Commerce City, because a man involved in the accident was throwing car parts at the other driver July 3. The man had run a stop sign and was hit. He then picked up his damaged bumper and threw it at the other driver. He was cited.
5 Bad paint job. Police were called to Sushi Yumi at 10350 Federal Blvd. in Federal Heights because someone tried to break into the restaurant and vandalize it June 29. The front door was broken, and someone tried to throw a bottle of white paint into the building.
6 Unattended bike collection. A man called police to his home in the 2800 block of West 103rd Avenue in Federal Heights because someone stole three of his bicycles that he kept on the side of his residence June 26.
