1 Missing tools. The maintenance manager of an apartment complex in the 9700 block of East Colorado Avenue called police after he realized someone broke into the tool shed and stole more than $2,500 worth of equipment July 7. There are no suspects.

2 Welfare check. Police went to a woman’s home in the 14700 block of East 11th Avenue after an emergency room doctor said she fled the building July 6 when he asked if she was being abused. The woman denied any abuse to police, so they closed the case.

3 Driveway break-in. A man called police to his home in the 1200 block of South Salida Way because someone cracked the lock on the back window of his truck July 3. The victim said his wallet and passport were taken from the car.

4 Random vandalism. An employee of Aurora Hills Middle School at 1109 S. Uvalda St. called police because someone pushed over her motorcycle and scratched it July 3. Security footage showed that a person wandered up to where the motorcycle was parked, pushed it over and then walked away.

5 Sayonara. A woman said she accidentally broke a window at her son’s house after he asked her to move out July 1. The woman was moving her belongings from the home in the 400 block of South Newark Way when she said she lost balance and tipped her bed into the window.

6 Not a Bloomingdales shopper. Police were called July 1 because a man who lives in the 14400 block of East Carolina Drive said someone tried to open credit lines at Bloomingdales and Sax Fifth Avenue in his name. He insisted he’d never been to either store.
