The man killed in a motorcycle crash Monday evening when a car turned into his lane has been identified, according to the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.

Lael Miles, 29, was , the office said. According to police, Miles was not wearing a helmet and was thrown over the car and onto the roadway.

The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Mississippi Avenue and South Quentin Street.

Charges against the driver — who was not injured — are pending, Aurora police said Wednesday.
