Members of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra rehearse at Boettcher Concert Hall. (Jamie Cotton, Denver Post file)
In the unfortunate likelihood of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra losing its home, Denver’s local arts patrons can take some solace in the fact that many other fine arts groups exist within a short drive. To name a few: the Boulder Philharmonic Orhcestra, the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra, the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra, the Longmont Symphony Orchestra, the Denver Pops Orchestra, the Littleton Symphony Orchestra, the Arapahoe Philharmonic, the Aurora Symphony Orchestra, Parker, Castle Rock … and there are more within another half-hour’s drive. It is almost an embarrassment of riches for those interested in the musical arts.
