Those who love to dance always seems to have a sparkle in their step, and perhaps that is why two participants in the upcoming “Dancing with the Denver Stars” chose to have as the signature beverage for a party they hosted at the .

Kasia Iwaniczko MacLeod, who leads Xcel Colorado’s corporate giving initiatives, and Jim Guttau, the hotel’s public relations director, invited friends to join them for Just Dance!, a poolside bash to generate support for this Oct. 4 benefit for

Following a performance by members of Robinson’s troupe, MacLeod and Guttau announced that their dance partners at the benefit would be Cedric Hall and Ralaya Goshea.

MacLeod and Hall will be dancing to a Justin Timberlake mashup (” ” and ” “) while Guttau and Goshea will are choreographing their moves to two Prince songs, ” ” and ” .”

Robinson, whose company is marking its 44th year, had a big announcement of her own: Her son, Malik, will be taking the reins as executive director. Malik also has been accepted to Class of 2015.

Priya Burkett is chairing “Dancing with the Denver Stars” with Janice Turner. Tickets can be purchased by calling 303-295-1759.

Burkett’s husband, Matthew, founder/CEO of the , underwrote the other refreshments for the party, a buffet with imported cheeses and other hors d’oeuvres.

Among those sampling and sipping were Jenny Salimi; Lori and Tom Kosty; Amy and Mark Bittner; Fred Churbuck; Stephanie Blake; Ania Iwaniczko with fiance Joe Jarock; Gwen and Moses Brewer; Rhetta Shead; Ali Levin; Ellen and Adam Larkey; Ann Mosso; Leah DiMarco and Julie Wilson.

In addition to MacLeod and Guttau, other participants in “Dancing with the Denver Stars” are state Rep. Angela Williams; Denver City Councilman Albus Brooks; Daphne Fink, president of ; vice president Wanda Harris; Steve Jordan, president of ; executive director Eddie Koen; Elizabeth Oyekan, a vice president with ; Kirk Scheitler, community and local government affairs manager for Xcel Energy; Mollie Zimmerman, owner/manager of Professional Limousines; and Tony Robinson, a general contractor who also spent 20 years in the U.S. Army.
