In addition to announcing she will donate proceeds of the suit auction for ALS research, Shiffrin pledged $1,000.

In her video, Shiffrin’s brother, Taylor, pours two ski boots full of ice water on his sister’s head. Then she does a flip into a swimming pool. Taylor is a student at the University of Denver.

Shiffrin was challenged by two top European ski racers, Tina Maze of Switzerland and Lara Gut of Switzerland. Shiffrin challenged teammates Lindsey Vonn and Resi Stiegler to join her in the challenge.
