Re: “Castle Rock voters say authority to restrict firearms rests with them,” Aug. 29 news story.
The citizens of Castle Rock just voted to allow open carry (actually voted to rescind the ban on open carry) in government buildings and such. Well, good for them. Maybe they can attract a movie company to film Westerns featuring gunfights in the streets. Sounds like the majority of folks in town will line up to be extras.
I’ll make sure I never turn off the interstate as I pass through the city. Wouldn’t want my time or business to upset the natural order of Mr. Colt, Mr. Winchester or Mr. Uzi.
And just what part of a well-regulated militia is this?
