1 Vehicle trespass. On Sept. 3, a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 10300 block of Hunterwood Wayin Highlands Ranch, where someone got into a woman’s unlocked car and stole a pair of $200 sunglasses, a yoga mat and her recreation card.
2 Faceplate stolen. On Sept. 3, a deputy was dispatched to the 4300 block of Brookwood Drivein Highlands Ranch, where someone ransacked a man’s unlocked car and stole a $700 ham radio faceplate. He denied being in any neighborhood disputes.
3 Window hole. On Sept. 2, a deputy was dispatched to the area of Highlands Ranch Parkway and Clairton Drive, where someone had shot a rock or BB at a woman’s car, causing a large hole in the top of her rear passenger side window.
4 Locker theft. On Sept. 1, a deputy was dispatched to 24 Hour Fitness,6830 S. County Line Road, where a man had locked up his shorts, which had his cellphone, wallet with $200, car and house key and other items. After working out, he found the lock missing and the items stolen.
5 Backpack stolen. On Aug. 31, a deputy was dispatched to the 2300 block of Lansdowne Place in Highlands Ranch, where someone had gone through a man’s unlocked car and stolen a backpack with a $2,000 laptop, mini projector and mini speaker.
6 Missing wallet. On Aug. 30, a deputy was dispatched to SuperTarget,1265 Sgt. Jon Stiles Drive, where a man realized he had left his wallet. He had $40 in cash inside the wallet, which was valued at $50. There were no unauthorized purchases on his cards.
