Officers from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman Wednesday under suspicion of felony menacing after she reportedly pointed a gun at children.
A department spokeswoman said the incident was part of an on-going dispute between the unidentified woman and her neighbors. After waving the gun, the spokeswoman said, the woman returned to her home. When officers arrived they called her on the phone; when she came outside, she was arrested.
The spokeswoman said no further details would be available until after the woman was booked late Wednesday afternoon.
