Getting your player ready...

Lerentee McCray, who spells Von Miller at strongside linebacker, is expected to be out two weeks with a sprained knee ligament.

Undrafted out of Florida last year, McCray signed with the Broncos only to spend his rookie season on injured reserve. Impressive during the offseason and training camp, McCray had two sacks during the preseason. He suffered the injury Sunday after taking a helmet block directly on the back of his right knee.

With a bye week following the Broncos’ game Sunday at Seattle, there is hope McCray can return to practice in preparation for Denver’s fourth game, Oct. 5, against Arizona.
