1 Two guests enter, one man robbed. On Sept. 3, a Denver police officer was dispatched to the 3500 block of Gilpin Street on a reported robbery. The officer learned that one suspect opened his front door and let in a second suspect and another man. The second suspect then pulled a knife and demanded money from the victim. After the victim was robbed, the first suspect kicked him out of the house.

2 Man vulgar while receiving aid. A man was arrested Sept. 4 after receiving medical attention from responders at Chaffee Park, 1901 W. 43rd Ave. Denver police learned that emergency responders were called to the park to help the suspect. While getting help, the suspect was spitting and cursing at the responders.

3 Stealing beer from Charlie’s. Denver police arrested a man Sept. 8 after he was caught stealing beer from Charlie’s Bar, 900 E. Colfax Ave. The manager told police that he saw the suspect going into the back room and putting beers into his backpack. The suspect admitted to stealing the beer and told police he was an alcoholic.

4 He’ll take that money to go. On Sept. 9, Denver police responded to a robbery at McDonald’s, 505 E. Colfax Ave. Police contacted the victim who said the suspect approached him and asked for a dollar. He took his money out of his shirt and gave it to him. Later, the suspect approached and reached in the victim’s shirt, taking the money. Both the victim and suspect used wheelchairs. The suspect was apprehended down the street.
