The weekend mountain exodus, paired with rain, resulted in delays Sunday afternoon of more than 45 minutes on eastbound Interstate 70 from Silverthorne to C-470.
The Colorado Department of Transportation first announced the delays about 3 p.m.
By 6:30 p.m. the department reported the delays had subsided.
