On a tour of the fall foliage, we drove through Estes Park and down the canyon of U.S. 36. Although there is still repair work to be done after last year’s floods, it reminded me of Gov. John Hickenlooper’s quick and decisive leadership in marshalling the resources and setting the priorities for restoring homes, businesses and highways as quickly as possible. His leadership was critical in our recovery from the unprecedented floods, and shows that we have a good governor who deserves a second term.
