BOULDER — This quote describes the strength and physical play of Colorado’s two-way player George Frazier, the 6-foot-2, 245-pound redshirt freshman who plays fullback and defensive end:
“I felt sorry for that Hawaii corner because George was going to score,” CU coach Mike MacIntyre said Monday following a practice.
After taking a second-quarter pass from quarterback Sefo Liufau, Frazier met the Hawaii defensive back at about the 1-yard line. It was no contest. Frazier ran through the defender for a 9-yard touchdown reception, the first score of his college career.
Defensively, Frazier recorded two tackles and a quarterback hurry.
“George had some physical plays,” MacIntyre said. “He’s doing a good job.”
