Nate Irving, the Broncos’ leading tackler (13) in Sunday’s overtime loss to the Seahawks, joined on Monday to give his thoughts on the game.

Many, including , felt there were many positives in the loss for Denver, especially considering that eight months were it was crushed by 35 points in the Super Bowl to Seattle.

But Irving found few things to boast about.

“I can only speak for myself, but I don’t believe in (moral victories) when it comes to games that we play,” said Irving, whose sentiment coach . “There’s a winner and a loser, and unfortunately we were the loser this time. There was nothing to celebrate.”




Irving said the team would return to the film room Monday to review what went wrong so they can correct it going forth. And while he was willing to conceded that the team played with a high level of intensity, it was the little mistakes that cost them.

Irving, while Von Miller was out last season, was also asked about where Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson ranked among other elite quarterbacks, the Broncos’ new acquisitions on defense and more from Sunday’s game.
