Monarch’s girls cross country team was , according to MileSplit.us.
Holly Bent (17:55), Audrey Lookner (18:03), Liz Hogan (18:30), Elissa Mann (18:32) and Karina Mann (18:32) combined for an average time of 18:18.40, more than seven seconds more than second place Carmel High School of Indiana.
Monarch isn’t the only team to make the top 10. Cherry Creek (18:38) is No. 6, Fairview (18:47.80) is No. 9 and Fort Collins (18:38.80) is No. 10.
Pine Creek (No. 14), Fossil Ridge (No. 19), Mountain View (No. 21), Thompson Valley (No. 30), Niwot (No. 41), Boulder (No. 42), Smoky Hill (No. 45) and Broomfield (No. 46) are also in the top 50.
