Police in Aurora are investigating after an RTD bus collided with a vehicle Monday morning.
The crash happened about 7 a.m. near the intersection of Yale Avenue and Buckley Road.
Lt. Jeff Turner said the bus was making a left turn onto Buckley when it collided with a Ford Explorer. Emergency crews were working to extricate the Ford’s driver, who sustained what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
No one on the bus was injured.
“We’re going to do what we can to figure out who ran what light,” Turner said.
Nobody on the bus was injured.
Several streets in the area are closed while authorities clean up the wreck.
