Point guard Nate Robinson will play this season as potentially his last in a Nuggets uniform. This is the final year of his current two-year, $4.1 million contract.

“For me, I just want to leave my mark,” Robinson said. “If I’m not here, I want to leave my mark where the fans are happy with everything that I’ve done.”

Robinson was a huge spark off the bench for the Nuggets last season, and averaged 10.4 points on 42 percent shooting before tearing his left ACL in January. His contract was a steal for the Nuggets when they signed him last summer, and Robinson says he’s very much open to returning to the Nuggets if the organization so desires.

Asked if he’d like to come back to the Nuggets, he said, “I believe so. I’m too old to be moving around too much more. I don’t know if I have too many more years doing that. For me, I would love to stay here. I’ve taken a liking to Denver, itap been fun. The city is great, the fans are great and this team is awesome. I would love to be here if they would love to have me.”
