The Forest Service is requiring costly permits for reporters to shoot video or photos in official wilderness areas. (Scott Willoughby, The Denver Post)
Re: “Forest Service plan for photo permits on public lands is ludicrous,” Sept. 25 editorial.
I am outraged to think that someone would want to charge photographers for taking pictures, commercial or otherwise. Some entrepreneur might be struggling to make a living and stay off of welfare. The beauty of this Earth, and Colorado especially, is there for all to enjoy. I have lived here for more than 90 years and think Colorado should be shown around the world.
There’s absolutely too much regulation in our lives anymore.
