Jack Elway and his dad, Denver Broncos executive John Elway, in September 2012. (Joe Mahoney, Associated Press file)
Re: “For John Elway’s son, penalty declined,” Sept. 28 Rich Tosches column.
I’m surprised by Rich Tosches’ lack of respect, lambasting John Elway and his son, John Elway III. His criticism and insinuations of city attorney improprieties and judicial preferential treatment used to expedite girlfriend abuse charges on younger Elway shouldn’t even be discussed publicly. Doesn’t Tosches realize what really matters isn’t an assault on a young woman but rather a clear path to a Super Bowl victory, free of media obstruction? No distractions, please.
