A man was struck by a vehicle and killed late Friday night after he stepped onto a crosswalk in the westbound lanes of Lincoln Avenue in Lone Tree, police say.
The man’s name has not been released pending notification of family members.
At 10:11 p.m., the man was walking from the south side of Lincoln Avenue at Oswego Street when he was struck by a vehicle, according to a Lone Tree police news release Saturday morning.
No further information about the circumstances of the crash, which are under investigation, have been released. The driver of the vehicle that struck the man is cooperating.
