The have certainly shown their range this week. Now on their third day of a week-long stay on the “Late Show with David Letterman,” Foo Fighters showed their bluesy side. joined Foo Fighters on Wednesday to perform his hit “Polk Salad Annie.”

The Foo Fighters have already performed with Heart’s Anne and Nancy Wilson and country rocker Zac Brown this week.

Tonight the band is rumored to play their new single, “Something From Nothing.”

Foo Fighters are spending the week with Letterman to support the new album and HBO series, both called “Sonic Highways.”
