The Boulder City Council is forcing a homeowner to rebuild this shed, which he tore down last year. The city’s Landmarks Board says the 1920s shed was an important part of the Mapleton Hill neighborhood’s character. (Courtesy photo, Daily Camera)
Re: “Family ordered to rebuild shed,” Oct. 25 news story.
Tell me this article is a joke. Really, Boulder City Council, protecting the “alleyscape”? The homeowner took down a “smelly and dangerous” shed on his own property, and now is being ordered to rebuild it? Does Boulder realize there are actual real problems in the world to work on?
