Re: “Denver pays $40k a month to suspended deputies under investigation,” Nov. 4 news story.

The ongoing saga at the Denver Sheriff Department moves from bad to worse. Management and oversight are definitely something that have been foreign to the operation of this branch and those responsible for the problem. Hopefully, pressure brought on by continued, negative coverage in The Denver Post will help expedite the correction of this situation. Taxpayers, among others, deserve a speedy solution to the mess.
