1 Dumped boyfriend issues. Police took a phone report on Oct. 12 at 8101 Ralston Rd. from a man who had been receiving harassing phone calls from a former friend accusing him of dating his ex-girlfriend. Police contacted the jilted ex, who admitted making the phone calls but accused his former friend and girlfriend of being “tweekers” who stole his safe. He was told to stop contact.

2 Butt dial to 911. Police received a 911 call on Oct. 24 from a cell phone that appeared to be verbal fight between a male and female. Police targeted the call as coming from a home in the 8600 block of West 79th Avenue. A male who answered the door denied any argument, saying he “butt dialed” 911 while watching TV.

3 Odd happenings on ministry roof. A confused staff member from Youth With a Mission, 12750 W. 63rd Ave., called police on Oct. 25 after hearing the pitter patter of feet running across the building roof just before 11 p.m. Police arrived to find two people who said they began running across the roof for “fun” after finding an unlocked access ladder.

4 Shed burglarized. Approximately $1,125 in tools and lawn equipment was reported stolen from a backyard shed on Oct. 23 in the 8000 block of Lee Street. No suspect was identified.

5 Motorcyclists easily eludes police. Just past midnight on Oct. 23, a patrol officer noticed a helmetless rider on a black sport motorcycle with no license plate in the area of West 84th Avenue and Chase Street. The patrol officer activated his overhead lights to initiate a stop, prompting the rider to rapidly accelerate and escape.
