1 Marriage rocky after 19 days.On Oct. 30, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies to ask whether he could put his wife’s possessions outside their home in the 11000 block of West Burgundy Avenue in the Littleton area because he wanted her out of the house. The couple had begun dating six weeks earlier and had been married just 19 days.
2 Anger erupts at Jenny’s Market. The manager of Jenny’s Market, 8386 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Columbine (Littleton), called deputies after an angry woman entered the store and went into the stockroom. The woman had been in several times to complain about fraudulent charges and lewd texts from an employee. An employee followed her to the stockroom and asked why she had a gun. She told him it was for protection. A deputy told the suspect, who denied having a gun, not to return to the store and to contact her bank.
3 Air duct cleaner is fishy.A homeowner called deputies Oct. 29 about a man who came to his house to clean air ducts. Deputies responded to the 9000 block of West Belmont Avenue in the Littleton area, and spoke to the homeowner and a housekeeper. After the man left, the housekeeper said she called her boyfriend to tell him about the incident. He told her to check the windows to make sure they were locked. They were not.
4 Bicyclists harassed. Three bicyclists riding in the area of Pleasant Park and High Grade roads, about 6 ½ miles east-southeast of Conifer on Oct. 11 reported being harassed by a pickup truck driver who drove by them too closely. They said the passengers also waved a pistol out the window.
