Warren Mitchell, a Limon and Colorado coaching legend, died on Friday at his hiome in Aurora, according to school officials.

Warren Mitchell Invitational Track Meet – Limon’s Badger Relays were started by Mitch in 1965 and renamed in his honor in 1993, they celebrated the 50th annual Invitational in 2014. The Meet is the premier H.S. meet in Eastern Colorado.
