Friends are identifying the victim of a deadly bar shooting as Denver rapper Kevie Durham, known as .
The shooting happened at a bar called The Beach on North Federal Boulevard and West Colfax Avenue near Sports Authority Field at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
Denver Police said there were “multiple” other victims with non-life threatening injuries. As of Sunday night, there had been no arrests.
Durham’s Facebook page was flooded with condolences from friends and fans.
A friend and music producer, who goes by Russ P., said he never knew Durham to be violent.
“This isn’t just another story of a rapper running around doing crazy stuff and ending up getting shot in the streets,” Russ said. “This is different. He was a good dude, thatap all I can say. And he had a lot to offer , not only the local community as an artist, but the world.”
