Was it ever “cool” to be a fan? Coldplay lead vocalist, , fronted on Monday as part of the World AIDS Day concert in Times Square. Due to Bono’s cycling fall, U2 has had to scratch a number of appearances in support of the new album, “Songs of Innocence.” Without Bono able to perform for the World AIDS Day Concert on Monday, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen and others took turns at the helm of U2.
A U2 backed was oddly sandwiched between U2 and performances. Yeezy continues to dial up performances that put his live show into a living art installation.
What kind of mega tribute concert would it be that takes places in New York without the help of the Boss? filled in for the other half of the performance subbing Chris Martin subbing for Bono. And it sounded exactly as one would imagine having Springsteen replace Bono with both tracks. It even appears as though as Bruce raided Bono’s wardrobe closet sans the sunglasses.
