Getting your player ready...

You never know. The Broncos worked out 11 players on Tuesday including seven defensive backs.

None of them were signed, although a few could be brought back after the season as teams can start signing players to future contracts on Dec. 30.

Among the players the Broncos signed to a future contract following last season was receiver/returner Jordan Norwood, who would have made the team had he not suffered a season-ending injury knee injury during a practice against the Houston Texans in August.

The 11 players who participated in tryouts Tuesday: Defensive backs Rodney Barnes, Deion Belue, Tevrin Brandon, M.D. Jennings, Vernon Kearney, Keon Lyn and Ross Madison; linebackers Quandon Christian and Danny Mason; defensive tackle Kenneth Horsley and defensive end Leon Mackey.
