Authorities in Denver have identified a woman killed in a that also left two injured.
Leann Margarita Najera, 28, who was pronounced dead at the scene, died of multiple blunt force injuries, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The crash happened in a neighborhood about 6 a.m. at the intersection of West Harvard Avenue and South Hazel Court.
“I heard two cars speeding, then heard the (a tire screeching sound) and a loud bang,” Carl Lopez, who lives nearby, .
Lopez, who told the station he gave CPR to one of the victims, ran outside and heard a woman say “Help me!”
The two people seriously injured in the crash were taken to a hospital.
