1 Gun-wielding meth user messes up gift delivery. A suspected meth and crack user with a black eye and split lip showed up at his estranged family’s home in the 7800 block of West 51st Avenue, Arvada, on Dec. 12. After being denied entrance to deliver a birthday gift for his son, the man pulled a gun out of his waistband and began talking about people out to get him. Two felony warrants were issued.
2 Aerosol huffer dances in street. Drivers traveling along West 58th Avenue and Ralston Road in Arvada on Nov. 28 called police after seeing a man huffing fumes from an aerosol can and walking into traffic. Officers arrived to find the suspect dancing unsteadily on his feet. He denied huffing, and juvenile witnesses left when police arrived. The man was issued a summons for intentional inhalation of toxic fumes.
3 Slashed tires ruin morning. A resident in the 6500 block of Welch Court in Arvada woke up Nov. 27 to see vandals had flattened three tires on two neighboring vehicles. He called the police, but no suspects were identified.
4 Woman denies assault. A woman in the 7300 block of West 84th Way in Arvada called police Dec. 2 while watching a man bash the windows of a car his girlfriend was in. She reported seeing him hit her, and police noticed facial swelling on the woman’s face. She denied being hit or knowing his phone number and address, and she did not want to press charges. A warrant was issued for the man’s arrest.
