For the first time in nearly 100 years, Girl Scout cookies will have gluten-free options: Toffee-tastic, buttery cookies with crunchy bits of toffee, and Trios, a blend of peanut butter, chocolate chips, and whole grain oats.

The third cookie that’s new this year is Rah-Rah Raisin, an oatmeal cookie with whole grain oats, raisins, and Greek-yogurt flavored chunks.

The new gluten-free cookies will compete with beloved favorites like Thin Mints.

Each year, nearly 1.5 million Girl Scouts sell about 200 million boxes of cookies, which amount to about $800 million.

National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend takes place Feb. 27 – March 1, and will be the 98th year of Girl Scouts selling cookies.

The new cookies will be available nationwide from most Girl Scout councils.
