Denver police officers are searching two high schools on Monday afternoon that have been locked down after an anonymous caller reported a gun was on their combined campus.

Authorities said there was no immediate threat to the school and that the search is a precaution.

The schools, Venture Prep High School and McAuliffe International School, are located on the Smiley Campus. The schools are located on the 2500 block of Holly Street.
